Any effort at eluding responsibility, pretending you don't have any -even if it's only for as long as this bus ride lasts- can be brought down by a look down. At one's hands. Especially if they are a dish-washing mom's hands. Hmph! Nothing that a little hand cream can't fix. Which of course any saavy dish-washing mom carries in her backpack.
